Barcus-Berry was one of the first companies to make an electric violin pickup widely available. Like the L.R. Baggs, the Barcus-Berry model shown above uses a single piezo transducer in a standard violin bridge. They also make clip-on versions that are easily attached to and removed from a violin or viola bridge.
