 Commonly known as Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. I didn't actually know he was a violinist until I saw Gate's On The Heat, which shows a picture of Brown playing violin on the cover. He's much more widely known for his guitar playing, and the recording technique on Gate's On The Heat pushes his violin into the background somewhat with a antiquated sound. I wish we could hear more of his fiddle....
