A rare find: a Cuban/American violinist (born in Cuba and also spent a good deal of time in Columbia). Firey player, but on the one album I have (Triunfo) too little violin too much other stuff. General style is traditional latin jazz, but with some nice piano and flute. Actually given the balance of violin solo vs. piano, flute, and other instruments, I tend to wonder if perhaps he's a multi-instrumentalist.
