 A versatile player across several genres, he's right at the edge of modern jazz, hence my inclusion of "avant-garde" in his list of primary genres. A certain touch of dissonance in his music reminds me of Leroy Jenkins, although Feldman is quite a bit more serene in his playing. "Music for Violin Alone" is a must-have.
