 Probably one of the most amazing players around. Not so much for his traditional skills as for the new spaces he's carving out with his violin. Physical and intense, and at the same time delicate and contemplative, his use of harmonics, sul ponticello bowings, and chaotic attacks make his music truly cutting edge.
