 Jim's a California-based player who's done sessions and tour work with Queen Ida's Bon Temps Zydeco Band (a Grammy winning band, by the way), Dan Hicks' Acoustic Warriors, and world music ensemble Ancient Future. He's performed as guest soloist with a wide variety of other folks, and has performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the Monterey Jazz Festival. He's also performed on The Prairie Home Companion (Garrison Kellior's popular radio show), Saturday Night Live (with Queen Ida), and CNN's Showbiz Tonight (with Dan Hicks).
