Hugo's a jazz/rock/fusion player from the Miami area, and plays a Barrett 5-string electric violin. His live shows combine his original material with a variety of cover tunes, which are of course given that electric violin twist. He's a solo act, but includes synthesizer sequences to fill out the supporting roles. He sent me his publicity packet, which is very professionally done and which shows him to be doing a lot of playing at some interesting venues in southern Florida.He's got a unique sound, some of which you can hear in the clips below.
